Colorado Surrogacy: 2018 Update
2018 has been a wonderful year for Colorado Surrogacy so far. We can’t believe that we are a little more than half way through the year, and so much has already happened! As the end of 2018 draws near, we are grateful for much growth and babies…lots of babies! It feels like 2019 is just around the corner.
We started the year off with some excitement and a Colorado Surrogacy birth in January of this year. Since then, the babies just kept on coming, and we have now welcomed 7 babies into some truly happy families. That 7 includes a set of twins to boot! We’re anxiously awaiting a handful of births (5) still in 2018. The list of sweet bundles due next year has already started as well.
Thanks to some women who are really passionate about helping share the gift of being a parent, we currently have close to 20 gestational carriers matched with intended parents working through various stages of the process and more amazing surrogacy relationships being built all the time.
2018 has been a great year of memorable events for Colorado Surrogacy! We have a great staff who loves to talk about surrogacy, whether it be their knowledge of the industry or their personal surrogacy experience. If you see our booth at an expo, convention or fair, please stop by and ask us some questions!
Ellen and Jennifer were also invited to speak at the events in California. Such an honor!
So far this year, we’ve attended or participated in:
Gay Christian Conference-Denver, CO
SEEDS Conference-Chicago, IL
The American Fertility Conference-Pasadena, CA
SEEDS Conference-CA
Prego Expo-Denver, CO
Colorado Assisted Reproductive Technologists Event-Denver, CO
Pride Fest-Denver, CO
Walk of Hope-Denver, CO
NoCo Pride-Ft Collins, CO
We still have a list of events for the remainder of 2018 including Breastival in Denver, Aurora and Boulder Pride events, Bumps and Babies as well as the ASRM Conference in Denver.
We love to see new, along with familiar, faces at our monthly meet ups. In 2018, we’ve also added quarterly meet ups to help our surrogates feel supported in every way. Our first was a fun filled evening of painting ceramics in March, then the second was our family picnic at the park after the Walk of Hope in June. More fun to come in the fall of 2018!
We can’t wait to see how the rest of 2018 unfolds. We’d love to share the exciting journey with you.
